Build a small AI toolkit that fits your work

Choose an assistant for the task, then add specialist tools only when a real workflow needs them.

Make it yours. Replace the [brackets] with your details, paste into your AI assistant, and review the result. Multi-tool prompts can be tried with Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.

Start with the job, not a subscription list

Write down your three most frequent tasks. For many people, one general assistant and the tools they already use are enough to begin. Adding a new product makes sense when it removes a specific constraint, not because a list says everyone needs it.

Compare assistants on the same task

Try ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini using the same non-sensitive brief and source material. Compare the usefulness of the draft, the corrections needed, and how comfortably it fits your work. This is a suggested evaluation method, not a ranking based on private benchmarks.

Help me evaluate an AI assistant for [task]. Build a small test brief with realistic inputs and a scoring rubric for factual accuracy, clarity, formatting, useful questions, and revision quality. Do not claim any model won until I supply actual outputs.

Add a design tool when the output needs design

An assistant can help write a visual brief. A design or image-generation tool is useful when you need editable layouts or finished imagery. Decide the output format first: a social image, a slide deck, and a reusable template have different requirements.

Add source-based research when evidence matters

For a question about documents you supply, use a workflow that lets you check the answer against those documents. For current public information, use an available search feature and open the sources. Do not confuse a polished answer with verified evidence.

Add automation after the manual workflow works

A comment-to-DM service such as ManyChat connects a social interaction to a message. Your website remains the place visitors read and download the resource. Configure the correct post and destination before turning the automation on.

Use a simple decision rule

Keep a tool if it repeatedly helps with a real task and you understand its cost, access, and limitations. Review official plan details before subscribing. The tool finder on the Batala hub offers a starting route based on your goal; it does not require an email address.

  • Writing and planning: test a general assistant first.
  • Visual production: pair a good brief with a design tool.
  • Source reading: prioritize traceable evidence.
  • Repeated delivery: connect the proven workflow to automation.
